THE ICON PAINTER'S VILLAS
“The Icon Painter’s Villas” is the name we have given to our four pretty little villas that can be found nestling within the tranquility of an olive grove. Visitors will wake each morning to a breathtaking view of the Taygetos mountains, the clear blue sea and the picture perfect village of Koroni.
Each villa has been designed to be Greek and Chic. Whilst trying to maintain a true Greek feel about the houses, we also wanted to introduce style and quality. The villas each have a generous living room, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space, a separate double bedroom, a shower room and a spacious outdoor balcony. They can easily sleep four.
The furnishings are contemporary and stylish. There is satellite television and wi-fi. All of the villas have air conditioning, and unlimited hot water. There is, of course, ample car parking space. There are laundry facilities too.
For many, the irresistible attraction about The Icon Painter’s Villas is the private pool. The cool classy design gives a feeling of infinity. When you step into the water, there is nothing between the you and the view.
Outside, each villa has its’ own private balcony with table and seating. There is a fabulous spacious terrace by the pool, a delightful barbeque area with fruit trees, herbs and vines and a shady covered terrace with books, maps and information for guests. And of course, you can also relax in the olive grove. The beach is close for more sunbathing and when you feel like something else, there are a host of Ancient and historic sites close by to explore.
In the villages nearby you will find a welcome second to none from the local people. Outings to nearby Ancient Messini, the forts of Koroni and Methoni, Nestor’s Palace at Pylos or Byzantine Mystras are all a day trip away.
The magical thing about The Icon Painter’s Villas is that there is the feeling of peace and quiet, but it's not isolated. It is less than 1km to the nearest village, Kombi, which has a charming restaurant. Less than 2km away is the village of Harakopoio with a supermarket, shops and restaurants. Koroni itself is just 5Km away. Peroulia and Kombi beaches are just a gentle stroll through the olives, 10-15 minutes walk away. At Peroulia beach there is a wonderful taverna with really good authentic Greek food at very reasonable prices.
There are many excellent restaurants in the area but a stay at the Icon Painter’s villas would be incomplete without sampling our unique dining experience. Here’s what some previous guests have said:

What makes our dining experience unique is the imaginative fusion of Mediterranean flavours and the use of our own produce in many dishes. The food we produce is both Greek and Chic.
At the Icon Painter’s villas you are served either on your private balcony or on one of the beautiful terraces around the gardens, this is an experience exclusive to our guests.
